We corresponded for about 2weeks via the dating site's IM system, which was tough, because I'm 1st shift & he's second, so there was a lot of space between messages.
He asked me to meet him for a casual drink at a local restaurant with karoke bar where we had drinks & appetizers. We really hit it off, so he said he wanted to take me out on a real date the following weekend for a nice dinner. We IM'd during the week, had dinner & the rest is history. It's only been about a month, but yes, we are already talking marriage (in the future) & buying a house together (totally crazy, but we know it's right!!) We're really getting to know each other & even thought things are cruising at top speed (emotionally), our working different shifts (for now) is keeping us grounded because we don't see each other much during the week. What has been key is not getting physical right away (well, except for awesome make-out sessions). We both agree that people jump into bed too soon & that's all they have, so it doesn't last. We wanted to know we were meant to be together before we got that intimate & he hasn't put any pressure on my in that regard, which has been wonderful! Men don't realize what a weight that puts on us. People should take the emphasis off sex & put it on getting to know the other person. That creates the foundation for a lasting relationship, & the physical part will be better because it will be based on love & emotions rather than empty lust & physical attraction. We began talking online for a few weeks, then we exchanged telephone numbers. After about a month and a half, I went to see a good friend of mine whom he happened to live an hour away from. We spent a week together and couldn't get enough of each other. I plan on moving from Tulsa to Indianapolis in July. We hope to be married soon and start our own little family! Distance doesn't matter, as long as you spend time getting to know the person and don't just jump into meeting asap, you'll know if it's right or not before you even meet.

I've met someone so incredible on this website. I was beginning to think I would never find that one special person, but I have and its incredibly amazing. My match and I have so much in common and are so compatible. Our differences compliment each other and makes us each a better person. We feel like we've known each other forever and where ever we go people think we've been married forever. Even though we haven't known each other very long, we're already planning a long future together. Our children have meshed well together and get along great. We've jumped in with both feet, all or nothing. Thank you so much for the important part you've played in our lives.
