He emailed me Jan.5 and we emailed back and forth to start. That lead to a few phone calls which then lead to us meeting. We truly are an ideal match and are so alike in many ways. I'm very happy to have him in my life and look forward to many years of love and laughter with him. Take care and keep your chin up peeps :)

Advice to other members:

Don't compromise on what you're looking for in a partner. You will know when you've met your true love. I had totally given up before I got his email. :)

I met my soul mate on here and I am going to marry him.We corresponded for two weeks before meeting. It was love at first talk and first sight. I drove to Maryland to see him for my birthday and he treated me like a queen. He is everything I ever wanted in a man. We both have kids and they have met and enjoy each other.

The nice thing is that he did not lie about who he is, how he looked and what he does for a living. He is blunt and I appreciate it. Thanks Positive Singles.

I said sure. I love his voice and he's so easy to talk with. We talked for two hours about what I don't remember, but I thought the next day I'd like to talk with him again. So, I called and we spoke for another two hours, which happened for the next week. We made plans to spend New Year's Eve watching Rear Window together through Skype and we loved it. The next night he told me he'd like to take me out on our first date and either he could come back to my town or he'd fly me to his and get me a room at a B&B. I thought about it and said I'd visit him. I did and love my visit there. We had the best tim... Read Full Story>>

Tips... His gentle persistence won me over, even though I was in communication with other fellows after we first met. I told him that I was. Honesty is the only way to go.

Thanks! We only emailed a few times, then we started texting and talking. We made a lunch date on Valentine's Day. No plans for marriage. Sometimes you just know when you connect with someone, it doesn't take long. Miki.
