I have truly enjoyed the service, and met someone I like a lot.

Actually I've had three life changing experiences in my life so far. Chronologically they are my breast cancer diagnosis in 2006, the death of my 49-year-old sister in 2009, and then my herpes diagnosis in 2010. Believe me I've tried to make the best of a bad thing with each of these occurrences. My cancer was cured, my sister's incurable, and, with your help, my herpes led me to meet a man I probably would never have met even though he was right under my nose.

Upon joining PS I was immediately approached by many men both geographically near and far from me. I decided that I didn't want a long-distance relationship, so I politely responded as such to most of them who contacted me. I had a few face-to-face meetings with a couple of the local guys, but I didn't have the chemistry I was in search of. I decided that I would try to get in touch with the men who lived in my neighborhood as there were a f... Read Full Story>>

There is hopefully a success story in the making. I met one person and we plan to have our second date this weekend, but have been chatting for the last few months. :)

I am not sure when I signed up but the same night I signed up I stumbled across a profile that caught my eye. I added him as a favorite not knowing that he would receive a notification email. He, being a gold member, sent me an email and we began to correspond. After a week of correspondence we met for dinner at Olive Garden in Phoenix and it was instant chemistry. It was as if we had known each other for a long time. Also by sharing the same condition we immediately felt comfortable and that had something in common... someone to relate to. That comfort lead to the ability to be ourselves, without that dark secret looming over our heads. We have decided to date exclusively.

Thank you for creating this doorway Positive Singles. I would never have met him if it wasn't for you.

Much love,

We corresponded for a couple of weeks, spoke on the phone a few times, then decided to meet in person (at a local restaurant between our residences). We had a lovely first meeting and hit it off right away. We had our first official date the following weekend. We have continued our relationship ever since--and it has only gotten better over time. We still live in our own homes, but see each other regularly. Marriage? That could absolutely happen in the future. We both cannot imagine life without one another.

Meeting online was a far superior way to meet for me. I liked getting to know something about the person BEFORE meeting them. It is very important to have things in common/compatibility, rather than to just be physically attracted to a person. Since we worth both honest in our personal profiles, that wasn't a problem. If people want to be successful in this method of meeting, they must be honest and forthright.

In any case, I couldn't have had this amazin... Read Full Story>>

I meet someone who I think is perfect for me. I corresponded with him for 3 days---long emails back and forth through out the day. I was the one who winked firs. We have a phone conversation July 27th....for 3 hours!!! We agree there is significant enough connection to meet the next day for our first date. He picks me up at my home (yes, I was comfortable enough with him already and I am a very cautious person), we go to dinner at my favorite place ----just like my first date idea suggests---talk for hours and hours---end the first date traditionally---nice kiss goodnight. Go on 5 more dates after that before deciding that it's something we both are interested in pursuing. He's an awesome person and we communicate very well in general and about H. I am excited about it! No plans for marriage, but it's certainly a possibility in the future.

I've really learned a lot from the site. I have read the success stories, treatment stories, blogs...everything. I am better equip to d... Read Full Story>>
