After years of trying to come to terms with my diagnosis, I decided to join the site to meet people in the same situation as me. After a few not so stellar dates, I was ready to completely give up hope of finding some one I could really connect with. So, when wwalker sent me a wink, I did not respond immediately. Eventually after a few more e-mail exchanges, we set up a date and time to meet.

Little did I know that that one date would forever change my life. It was amazing. Great conversation, a romantic stroll, my fate sealed with a kiss. I could not believe my luck. I had met a handsome, intelligent, funny man who understood exactly what I was going through.

It has been almost two months since that fateful day, and although we live in different cities, we have spent every weekend together since. I have never been happier. We will live in the same city soon enough...
